Since childhood, Jordan River has had a penchant for the figurative arts, buttressed by a natural talent for media and new technologies.

In addition to directing, he also works as a story writer and producer for film and television. He is an expert in digital editing and both artistic and combat choreography. Has developed keen organizational and administrative skills, and has experience in project development, planning, financing and feasibility studies for film projects.

While his heart belongs to Rome and the southern Italy of his childhood, and his spirit belongs to the Orient, he has also travelled extensively (Portugal, France, Spain, Switzerland, England, the United States), including a period in Los Angeles during which he held several internships in the special effects departments of various Hollywood film studios.
As for his work in Italy, he is currently cultivating a number of professional synergies with the foremost experts in the field of stereoscopic 3D. Indeed, some of his youthful productions were broadcast on Italian network and cable TV, including Sky, from which he received at a very young age two directing awards for his “clear and engaging translation of the power of an idea into imagery”.

He is currently working alongside a team of consummate professionals on the epic film Sacred Code (Sacro Codice), soon to be released for TV and theatres. The first completed scenes of this unprecedented film, though production is still underway, have been previewed at prestigious international events such as the RomaFictionFest, the Venice Biennial, and even at a special presentation in New Delhi.

The critical consensus on Sacred Code is best expressed as “a modern work which, once released, could achieve a much deserved success as a splendid, unparalleled interior journey. The locations are fascinating and the cinematography is superb, with unusual audio-visual codes, an original soundtrack, stereoscopic 3D imagery and imaginary characters and scenarios that combine to create a unique and enchanting viewing experience”.
